The Departement of Agro-Industrial Technology had announced 45 new students as the new comers in the Postgraduate program. They are consisted of 20 students registered in master course and the rest of 25 students are registered for doctoral course program. The new established management of post graduate studies in the departement of Agro-Industrial Technology carried out a crash program matriculation for the preparation of new incoming master and doctoral students during period of August to September 2010. This program aims to equip new students with all required and relevant courses that will be taken in the first semester of their study in both master and doctoral programs.
Three special courses have been proposed as composite basic course requirement for new student in Agro-industrial Technology's post graduate studies. They are Fundamentals of System Engineering Course (FSE), Fundamentals of Process/Bioprocess Engineering (FPE) and Fundamentals of Industrial Computation (FIC). Both FSE and FPE are chosen by students according to their preference for incoming research and related background in previous undergraduate or master program, whereas FIC is set to be compulsory for the whole new student.
